Committee

King Street Pre-School is a registered charity and, as such, is assisted by a committee of past and present parents and carers, also known as trustees. 

The committee meets once per term to discuss how to progress the pre-school through fundraising, events, experiences for the children as well as issues such as finances and staffing. Being on the committee is a fun, sociable way of sharing your ideas and relevant skills. Meetings are held in the evening at a local pub or a members home.

New committee members are appointed at the AGM held in October each year but new members are welcomed at any time during the school year. 

If you are  interested in joining the committee please contact one of us via the contact details listed below, or speak to a member of staff.  In line with safeguarding regulations, we will perform a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on anynew committee member.
